Software Analyst - Demand Manager
Siemens is looking for a Demand Manager, to be hired with a permanent contract, for its premises in Milan and Rome. He/she will be responsible of analysis of the business, functional and quality requirements related to a specific set of applications of the SW portfolio of the Digital Grid business unit.
The Demand Manager is involved in the SW development process by gathering user requirements and by creating technical specification for the SW development team. He/she has a key role facing the customers, understanding their business processes and their need.

What will you manage in the short term?
Interface with the customer to translate user requirements into technical / functional specification
Interface with Software Development Team to program and realize customer’s requests
Create and manage the product backlog settings priorities according to the customers’ needs
Act as a Product Owner in an agile development process
And what about the medium-long term?
Lead business activities related to a specific customer
Lead a demand team related to a specific product in the portfolio
Who is our candidate?
Passionate and enthusiastic person
Bachelor's / Three Years Master's Degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
Good Experience in SCADA applications
Knowledge in electric distribution system
5+ years of experience in SW consulting or R&D organization
3+ years of experience in demand / business analyst / product owner role
Excellent knowledge of the SW product development life-cycle
Good knowledge of Agile methodologies
Knowledge of planning tools and of IT systems architecture principles
Knowledge of technologies such as Java, JEE, SQL databases, Web Applications
Project management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively in both English and Italian
