Who are we?

Siemens Postal, Parcel & Airport Logistics (SPPAL) is a global leader for automation systems in the field of parcel, mail and airport logistics.

Our comprehensive service offerings, including integrated technical operation and maintenance services, bring our experience to the daily business of our customers.

What will you be doing?

You will lead the SPPAL business and will be fully responsible for P&L of lead country UK across a broad range of general and operational management aspect including strategic planning, allocating resources and reviewing the successful implementation.

As the representative of SPPAL internally and externally on all levels, you will drive negotiations and alignment across all (organizational) levels and entities.

You will maintain, develop and diversify our business scope and customer base to ensure the continuous growth of our business in UK and define the vision and delivery of the strategic plan.

Knowing our customers by heart and you work proactively on established and new relationships, to ensure customer satisfaction across all levels to keep Siemens a supplier of choice in the market.

You will motivate the team to be at the forefront of the digital era and to restlessly integrate digital elements in our portfolio

As an outstanding people manager, continuously fostering the dynamic, collaborative and trustful culture of our company, you will coach and mentor, whilst continuously developing the team to enable them to take SPPAL UK to the next level.

About you

We are looking for someone who has a blend of cross-functional processes including Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Operations, Quality, Safety in an industrial B2B environment, with the ability to manage large scale projects and programs.  The ability to build senior internal and external relationships is key, whilst a coaching and mentoring background is a must.

Bachelor, Master or PhD in business or technical fields would be a huge advantage.
