Roles & Responsabilities
The Technical Support Engineer is a critical member of our PACS Digital Imaging and Advanced Visualization support team. This person will be part of the Regional Service Center (RSC) responsible for level 1 and 2 remote customer support in the AMERICAS region with focus in LAM (i..e,  Arg, Chile, Colombia, etc.). This individual must have the most advanced technical skills, knowledge, and abilities to troubleshoot, work on, and repair multiple SYNGO Healthcare IT systems and applications as well as established third party OEM business partners’ solutions and system interfaces. This person will help contribute to the overall success of our SYNGO RSC service operation by maximizing customer loyalty through providing maximum system uptime and delivering the highest quality support and customer service experience.

Requirements
• Candidates with Master’s Degree in Computer Science preferred
• Candidates with MCSE and/or cloud & web technologies certification preferred
• Healthcare modality experience with US, MR, CT, CR, XA, and/or NM from various vendors including Siemens, GE, Philips, Toshiba, Fuji will be given preference
• Experience in project management will be a plus.
• Business fluent in spoken and written Spanish and English, and feel comfortable working in an international team which is partly virtual
• Candidates fluent in Portuguese, or other Siemens core language will be given preference
• Candidates with demonstrated understanding of business acumen will be given preference
• Examinations conducted in a radiology or cardiology department
• Healthcare IT and workflows
• RIS/PACS or CIS/PACS interfacing
• Minimum 5 years Healthcare software IT implementation and support experience.
• Microsoft Operating Systems (Server and Clients), Networking, Security, Antivirus, Web Technologies, Citrix, VMware, Storage hardware devices and technologies.
• Advanced experience with DICOM, HL7, XML, HTML
