Job Description

We are looking for an Intern to work in our HSQE (Health and Safety, Quality and Environment) team for 12 months.

Siemens Intelligent Traffic Systems designs, markets, manufactures, installs and maintains a wide portfolio of international traffic management products and is the UK market leader in the traffic signal business. Our Health & Safety, Quality and Environment team supports the whole business throughout the UK, ensuring we deliver our products and services to the highest quality, but also ensuring the safety of everyone we come into contact with, and keeping our environmental impact as low as possible.

The candidate

  • Good communication skills – this is essential for working successfully as a team and with customers.
  • Problem solver – a daily activity for any team member.
  • Innovative – don’t be afraid to challenge the norm, or a senior manager.
  • You should be working towards a degree in Environmental, Safety, or Quality Engineering or Management.
  • IT Literate – Microsoft Office, Data Analysis and Report Writing.


What else do I need to know?

There is one role available for a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, starting in June/July 2019.

The placement will be based in Poole on the South coast, which is surrounded by many award winning beaches, water sport opportunities, excellent countryside walks and tourist attractions.
