The objective of the application is to reduce the pre-sales timespan for compressor applications by enabling sales engineers to collect requirements from the users and propose an initial design. This is achieved through what is called “Configured to Order” (CTO), i.e. a set of “standardized” systems that can be configured together for the application. This follows the 80/20 rule that 80% of the designs are typically very similar and can be standardized.
