Job Description

What are my responsibilities?

  • Own & develop overall Sales strategy and go to market approach for targeted  verticals of Siemens Smart Infrastructure (SI)  business units: Medium Voltage, Digital Grid, Low Voltage, Control Products, Building Products and Regional Service & Solution  Drive Sales collaboration activities on an ongoing basis across all SI business units to achieve targets

  • Create demand for combined SI portfolio by early engagement with all stakeholders  (end user, consulting engineer and contractors) and across all business units

  • Contribute to the development of marketing & sales collaterals & strategies for Lead Country UAE Bundle (LCB) in co-ordination with  corporate and local marketing and communication teams along with business units to ensure profitable growth and expansion of business in line with the agreed business plans.

  • Focus  on improving market intelligence on industry, infrastructure and oil & gas business.

  • Maintain and prioritize business activities and reporting to local, regional and BU management.

  • Ensure strict adherence to business conduct guidelines and other business processes throughout the organization.

  • Focus on collaboration with business units across Smart Infrastructure and other Siemens Operating Companies – OpCo’s (Gas & Power, Digital Industry) to drive cross OpCo  business growth, employee development and customer satisfaction.


    What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

  • Most importantly they need to be dynamic, outgoing with a real drive to succeed.

  • Overall 10-15 years’ experience in the fields of Digital Grid/Energy automation, Medium and low voltage, building technologies, Energy Transmission & Distribution, smart grids

  • Experience of working in cross functional teams

  • Experience in sales and business development

  • Previous experience in the Middle East would be an advantage

  • Business level spoken and written English. Arabic would be an advantage

  • Experience working in a multicultural environment, ideally with a large international company
