HR Country Head
As a trusted partner to the Country CEO and a member of the Country Management Team, translates business requirements into human capital imperatives. Utilizes the full value chain of HR to derive relevant HR solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business and unleash the maximum potential of Siemens’ people to drive business success in a country.
Leads and manages Field HR of a Country and represents all of HR towards business and employees. Demonstrates ability to lead HR in a country by orchestrating and facilitating changes to organizational culture, design and structure. As such, is accountable through horizontal leadership to create value by delivering the suite of HR services (Field HR, Expert Teams, HR Shared Services and Talent Acquisition) to meet business needs for a given lead and / or assigned country /countries. Represents Siemens as an employer to external authorities and stakeholders.
Builds strong, trusted relationships with the Country CEO and his/her Leadership Team, striking a delicate balance between consulting / advising and being a team member.
Represents HR in a Country and is ultimately accountable for implementation of HR policies and guidelines and their compliance to local regulations. As such a final decision maker on Labor Law and/or Compliance issues in country.
Represents Siemens as an employer to external authorities and stakeholders. Is connected in professional networks in his/her country / region representing Siemens HR as a thought leader.
Demonstrates leadership for entire HR value chain (incl. Global Business HR Services, Expert Teams, Talent Acquisition, etc.) regardless of reporting relationship.
Orchestrates delivery of vertical HR portfolio to businesses in country, managing resources across countries and cultures.
Leads the Field HR Team of a Lead Country (Bundle) and manages the Field HR organization (incl. Budget).
Develops the Field HR Organization according to HR Transformation Roadmap.
Owns and optimizes all facets of industrial and labor relations policies and practices.
Thai National (preferred), male/female, open to Local-Expats with Thai-language proficiency
10+ years of experience in companies with complex organization structure in the field of Human Resources for Multinational companies preferably in the field of Engineering, Technology, Energy or relevant industry segments.
Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Political Science, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
Fluent English communication, presentation, negotiation and public speaking skills.
The person undertaking this role should understand the business and its strategy, be an active part of the decision-making process across all facets of the organization (sales, service, support functions, etc.) for external world and its implications on the business and people strategy (industries, markets, customers, HR, people practice etc.) and collaborate with Global HR Business Partners to ensure alignment between global business / people strategy and local people strategy and related HR initiatives.
Due to the complexity of the organization,
we also expect the incumbent to largely lead the process of developing and
communicating regional (Country) People Strategy and translates it into HR
goals and actions to the local entity i.e. Coaches and enables senior
executives to be more effective leaders, Identify needs for change management
and champion related activities and drive discussions related to workforce and
organization design changes and provide recommendations with the focus on partnering
with business leaders to actively analyze and drive cultural change in line
with business strategy and enabling local business to develop a diverse, robust
talent pipeline for a sustainable business outcome.
