You will have the opportunity to work within one of the fastest growing areas of the Siemens business. Our New South Wales service team is critical to our total business offering, and you will show strong customer relationship and fault finding skills within your list of attributes. Reporting to the NSW Service Team Leader for Smart Infrastructure, you will be required to complete a wide range of technically oriented service work and provide support to your team in planning and managing these works. You will have the opportunity to work on a multitude of sites around Sydney and will be available for after hours and on call support as part of this role where required.
You’ve got the desire to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction with a knowledge and drive to improve business operating efficiencies whilst attaining operational and customer related goals. You’re excited to try new things, explore the possibilities of new technology and see each task as an opportunity for personal and professional growth. As a Service Specialist you will be responsible for a broad scope of technical tasks which include preventative maintenance tasks, reactive service calls, evaluation of customer’s equipment and assisting with site OH&S audits, among others. You may also be required to provide input into technical design and development for service offerings, along with estimating, planning, and reviewing of technical tasks in support of overall project acquisition, negotiation, planning and management.
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you will possess the following:
- A basic knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and systems
- Knowledge and experience with Building Automation systems (desirable but not essential)
- Proficiency with computers, networks and 3rd party software ( i.e. Microsoft )
- Experience with Building Automation / PLC / Process software programming (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- The ability to demonstrate strong customer engagement and relationship skills
- Tridium experience is encouraged but not compulsory
