Intern - ITS Project Management / Engineering

What will be my responsibilities?
  • Perform project related tasks in a project manager role for upcoming and ongoing projects 
    • Take over responsibility and implement local projects in a project manager role, e.g. Proof of Concepts within the region
    • Assist the coordination of transnational Siemens project teams as well as professional contact to external business partner
  • Assist the ITS Hub in technical issues 
    • Conduct market research in order to identify technical requirements of the region and customers
    • Development of customized solutions for special characteristics of traffic in APAC 
    • Analysis & adaption of Siemens ITS product portfolio for APAC
  • Assist senior management 
    • Assist Management in creating presentations for conferences, management meetings and project concepts
    • Be involved in customer co-creation workshops, support customer meetings 
What are my qualifications?
  • Graduates pursuing a Master Degree in Engineering, preferably related to transportation sciences 
  • Preferably acquired knowledge in Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS)
  • Preferably possess knowledge in project management
  • Preferably gained first industry work experience
  • Preferably gained international experience (working or studying abroad)
  • Be self-dependent / work well with low level of guidance from management
  • Be a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to foster a positive work environment
  • Possess excellent written, verbal and communication skills in English
  • Have proficient Microsoft Office skills, with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel
  • Can commit to a 6 months full-time employment, preferably starting in July 2019
  • Eligible for Ministry of Manpower’s Work Holiday Pass (WHP) or possess a Valid Student Pass in Singapore
