Join our team in the Automotive Business Unit as a “Senior Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) – Integration” in Villingen-Schwenningen, Munich or Karlsruhe
Your new area of responsibility - challenging and future-oriented
- Planning, setup and execution of software integration projects for complex embedded systems in the field of automotive applications for Linux and Android OS
- Working in an international integration team responsible for worldwide projects within the software engineering using industry standard methods and tools
- Analysis and optimization of existing integration processes for continuous improvements
- Support of the software testing team as part of the integration process
- Implementation of project specific requirements and documentation of the software integration activities
Your qualifications - solid and adequate
- Bachelor or Master degree in software engineering or related discipline
- 5+ years of software integration and development experience in a C/C++ environment
- Strong background in the integration of BSP, OS and middleware components for Linux and ideally also for Android OS in the domain of complex infotainment systems
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong analysis, design and problem solving skills, along with object-oriented programming experience
- Experience with programming of x86- or ARM-based microprocessors
- Knowledge of Linux and/or Android Operating System build processes and industry standard methods and tools used for complex integration projects
- Proven attention to detail and the ability to accurately estimate integration
- Strong team player with good spoken and written communication skills in German and English
