Mentor is a business unit of Siemens PLM Software. Its Integrated Electrical Systems (IES) segment develops Capital and LDorado software suites used globally by automotive and aerospace manufacturers and wire harness suppliers to enhance their electrical distribution system (EDS) design and manufacturing flows. We have positions available for software engineers who will join the development teams in Munich, Germany or Manchester, UK.
Your new area of responsibility - challenging and future-oriented
Capital & LDorado are Java-based application suites that encompass the following technologies:
- Computer Aided Design and Engineering
- Relational Database (Oracle & other SQL platforms)
- Object Oriented Design and Development
- Windows and Linux operating systems
- Web-services and API for customer-specific integration and customization
- Both desktop and web-based applications
Your qualifications - solid and adequate
- Significant Software development experience (CAD, technical, industrial)
- Degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial etc.)
- Good appreciation of industrial software solutions and architectures
- OO design, UML
- OO programming (Java)
- Concept works for customers and consulting
