Sales Manager - BMS & Security Systems

Job Description

The Mission:

Responsible for Security Portfolio Order Intake and Customer Relationships for our Building Technology division Solution (SI RSS SOL), Preparation of quotations, acquisition of orders and achieving Sales target.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Responsible for identifying / creating opportunities and acquisition of enquiries, giving clear guidance on target price and bid strategy, supporting the detailed costing / tendering process, obtaining internal bid approvals, negotiating and securing the order and consequently processing the order as per the approved guidelines.

  • Prospecting, Sourcing and proposition comprehensive solutions which meet client’s requirements

  • Supporting the preparation of quotations and tender documents strictly under the policy's price list and margin guidelines of siemens.

  • Responsibility for the definition of the target bid price / defending the best bid / Development of sales strategy and meeting structured sales targets.

  • Preparing, developing and maintaining healthy pipeline of sales opportunities, including keeping the Siemens sales funel tool valid and up-to-date at all times.

  • Starting and developing a Security market study to identify potential clients and partners: survey and analyse the competitors activities

  • Evaluate, consider, address on how to be more competitive on total Building Solution (TBS) proposals and address the output to the Estimation/Design team

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Graduate Engineer with 5 to 10 years’ experience
  • Min. 3 years working in Qatar

  • Sales Process Knowledge of 1 or more product portfolios (BMS, iBMS, Fire, Access Control, CCTV, Security

  • Proven Sales skills and market product knowledge in BMS Fire and Security

  • Competent knowledge of MS Office, Presentation skills, CRM (Sales Force)

  • Ability to work with internal & external contacts of different cultural background

  • Sound knowledge of Commercial Processes, Cost Estimation, Negotiation and Contract management and Financial basics

  • Very good level of English
