We currently have 2  exciting opportunities for enthusiastic and diligent individuals to join our dynamic and fast paced EHS team based in our Bayswater, VIC offices. We have a Permanent and a 12 month fixed term position available.

You will be responsible for: 
  • Safety, environment and quality incident management
  • Proactive risk management
  • Development and roll out of safety, health, environment and quality focused training
  • Facilitation of business audit program for areas of responsibility
  • Development, implementation and maintenance of business safety, environment and quality management system documentation
  • Conducting audits as required

What you’ll bring:
  • 10 years’ experience in a similar Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) role preferably gained in the construction and/or engineering industry
  • Comprehensive understanding of management systems standards ISO9001:2015 ISO14001:2015, AS4801, OHSAS 18001
  • Passionate about SHEQ concepts including to assist the business in delivering ‘in full, on time, on budget with satisfied customers, no one gets hurt and no pollution’
  • Ability to lead, influence and mentor staff at all levels of the organisation towards continual improvement
  • Good understanding of risk management including implementation and monitoring of required controls
  • Ability to investigate incidents and assist business managers with developing and implementing corrective actions
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly, both verbal and in written form across all levels of the organisation including senior management.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to think analytically
  • Commercially aware with a sound understanding of contractual compliance
  • Proven ability to meet reasonable deadlines and able to cope with ad-hoc requests.
  • High level of self-motivation and self-management
  • Flexible attitude to work, i.e. doing what is needed to get the job done
  • Ability to develop and deliver training as required, Cert. IV in Workplace Training and Assessment desirable
  • Experience with and formal qualifications/certification in SHEQ auditing
  • Experience with Return to Work and Workers’ Compensation management is desirable
