Siemens HTT is specialized in Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG’s) and Waist Heat Recovery Units (WHRU’s) for the Power Industry. Implementing a HRSG/ WHRU increases the plant efficiency enormously and therefor reduces the CO2 emission for our customers.
Nearly all projects are built outside of the Netherlands with a combination of international customers and subcontractors.
For our office in Zoeterwoude we are looking for a 3D Piping Design Engineer.
The 3D Piping Design Engineer is part of the engineering project team. You are responsible for the 3D design of the piping of the HRSG/ WHRU with all related equipment based on information from other disciplines within the project team.
Together with the team, he will work on realizing an optimized project as much as possible.
Task amongst others are:
Realization of the 3D model with the software tools PDMS/E3D;
Creating by himself, or under his accompaniment creating of the following documents: 3D models, Layout drawing, Isometrics, Pipe support drawings, MTO’s;
As a 3D Piping Design Engineer you play a central roll in the integration off all equipment and components in the total design of the installation;
Design the product according project specific contract specifications, design codes (including local regulations) and Siemens internal quality guide lines
The 3D Piping Design Engineer must have a Secondary vocational education degree or Higher professional education /Bsc. degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering. 3 Years’ working experience in the field of 3D piping design with PDMS/E3D or comparable 3D piping design tool.
Multidisciplinary knowledge in the design environment and good communication skills in English is recommended (verbally and on paper).
Being able to speak Dutch is an advantage.
