Communication Business Partner- Gas and Power

We are looking for a Business Partner to create communications strategies for our Gas and operations. You will raise awareness about Siemens, while generating demand for our business and ensuring great ROI for your activities.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Develop and implement annual integrated communication plan (including video, interviews statements/messages, branding, events, trade shows, internal, online, collateral material)
  • Support division/operating company in achieving its goals, by creating preference for our solutions and products
  • Evaluate most efficient ways to deliver our key messages and communication activities to external stakeholder groups, especially for demand gen campaigns
  • Plan, organize, execute and manage events including trade shows, conferences, seminars, customer and partner events, industry events and other corporate events and roadshows
  • Drive internal communication within the operating company/division
  • Be the strategic link between the communication hub in the UAE and the countries
  • Ensure close alignment with the business by defining KPI's, organizing quarterly review meetings and developing strong internal channels of communication
  • In charge of budget planning, including purchasing topics and supplier management
  • Strong collaboration with media relations team to increase the media profile of the business, bring newsworthy stories and initiatives to the attention of appropriate media contacts, ensure the business benefits from interviews and op-ed, supporting the organization of press trips etc.
  • Conduct appropriate market research on competitors and regular bench marking of campaigns
  • Understand the business, their portfolio and our USP's
  • Ensure close alignment with the business by defining KPI's, organizing quarterly review meetings and developing strong internal channels of communication

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Use of MS Software Office Skills / Office Manager Skills to an expert level
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Strong content development capabilities
  • Ability to develop and implement social media campaigns
  • Trade shows and Event management experience is a must
  • Strong interest in technology, and ability to communicate about technical solutions related to · gas and power and energy management
  • The ability to manage tight deadlines
  • Previous experience in related field, successfully delivering communications and marketing strategies
  • Proven experience working in a multicultural environment
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Arabic is an advantage
  • Agency background preferred
