As an International Service Engineer you will be using your professional and technical skills in an international setting by working in different countries and cultures. Working from our Rotterdam-office, you will be assigned projects which require ownership coupled with the freedom and bandwidth to demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit in delivering real value to our customers. Provide smart solutions for our customers, this could be standard or very specific. The scope of the assignments typically comprises; inspections, maintenance, damage repairs, commissioning and trouble shooting.

In the position as Service Engineer you will be responsible for:
Performing commissioning, repair and maintenance service jobs on couplings/clutches and gear units conform the requirements of our client and/or protocol
Analyze, evaluate and solve problems/deviations in operational systems
Delivering a detailed technical evaluation report of the project
Spare parts advice or follow-up propositions
Ideally we are looking for the following skill sets and experience:
A completed Secondary vocational education (level 4) in mechanical engineering or similar;
Completed relevant courses on hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical engineering;
At least 3 years' of relevant working experience;
Willingness to travel and stay abroad for a few days to a few weeks, including weekends;
Good communication skills both written and verbal in Dutch and English;
Experienced with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word);
Driving license, category B;
A high degree of autonomy;
The ability of solving problems and a practical no-nonsense mentality.
