Your mission and responsibilities:
You will serve as the business’s main interface to the Real Estate team. In this role as liaison, the successful candidate will hold responsibility for ensuring the delivery of all three projects (Buildings D, E, & F) under construction meet the needs of the business. This will require an in-depth understanding of the Laboratory Diagnostics (LD) business, product lines, manufacturing processes and conditions, as well as the design and specifications for each of the three facilities and the associated equipment. This equipment includes both clean and black utilities, as well as significant custom process equipment. You will be able to interpret and understand the needs of the LD business unit and translate that for the Real Estate team to execute and deliver on.
You will provide project management support to the global Process Engineering and Facilities Engineering Functional Leads within the project. To accomplish this, the successful candidate will work closely with members of both functions globally, as well as third party vendors located around the world, to ensure close collaboration and alignment as the project is executed in Shanghai.
You will lead various cross-functional element teams within the overall project. These element teams will consist of various Healthineers employees, external vendors and project team members located at multiple locations globally. The team members will come from all project functions, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Technology Transfer, Lab Operations, Production, IT and Quality, as well as Supporting Functions, the US-based project team, and third-party vendors. As such, the successful candidate will possess the ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization, influence without authority, and drive positive results under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
You will be in a project environment, will be a regular part of this role. These will include risk management, stakeholder communications, project scheduling, project reporting, running meetings, general project coordination, etc.

Your qualifications and experiences:
PM certification is preferred;
Prior experience that spans borders, time zones, and cultures and includes working in a large, matrixed organization is preferred.
Your attributes and skills:
You are BS/BA in Engineering or related discipline; Master degree preferred,
You have demonstrated team leadership and project management skills,
You have demonstrated capability executing in a regulated/FDA environment, preferably within the IVD industry,
You are required international travel, primarily to the US.
