Your new role – challenging and future-oriented
•Planning and execution of signaling construction works.
•Undertake Signaling construction administration and delegate responsibilities.
•Provide input in the estimate of costs of construction for allocated works in terms of labor, material and other costs.
•Ensure sufficient resources (plant and people) are provided on the project.
•Monitor physical and financial progress of work.
•Ensure harmonious employee relations and participate in union negotiations with advice from the Human Resources Manager as appropriate.
•Liaise directly with client to maintain high-level customer service relationships.
•Monitor the workload and progress of subordinates to ensure most effective use of resources.
•Determine any changes required in employee numbers to achieve present and future project objectives.
•This position is responsible and accountable for supporting and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace and for adherence to company policies and other applicable laws, regulations and standards for the workplace. Ensure practices adopted reflect a commitment to the highest standard in OH&S and environment.
•Ensure that all necessary steps are taken to meet the Company's Environmental license conditions and to minimize environmental risks.
We don’t need superheroes, just super minds
- Minimum 10 years experience managing Signaling Construction work, inspection and Testing activities on Metro projects.
- Capable of executing signaling construction activities on Projects to ensure that standards of quality, cost, safety, and performance are observed and that time schedules are met.
