Engineering Team Leader
As the Engineering Team Leader you will be responsible for effective management of Service Engineers, within nominated team. Ensuring service contracts are delivered to our contract requirements, the team meets productivity targets and resources are available to delivery our contracted obligations. Ensuring the team are trained /skilled to deliver exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for serving Canary Wharf and the surrounding areas.

Productive Activities (50% of your time)
Responsible for H&S and well being of team
Delivering Tool box talks
Responsible for ensuring Productivity of team
Management of Call Out & response / closure
Working with wider team as second man to deliver contractual requirements
Ensuring high quality of service is provided to meet customer expectations
Ensuring Customer documentation is completed according to agreed timescales
Identify service team opportunities to develop MAC leads on service sites
Participate in Company Call our Rota as required
Team performance /PMP / development of team / Training requirements
Up skilling of wider team, mentoring and coaching
Identify with sales team opportunities to migrate obsolete systems to Siemens equipment
Conduct regular, minuted, team meetings
What you need to make real what matters.
As the Engineering Team Leader you will have excellent organisation skills, work well towards team goals and effectively contribute to a high standard of team morale. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as experience of creating management and customer reports. Essential to this role is your experience in Fire / Security field engineering (with an electrical bias, preferred).
Training & qualifications:
Electrical qualification HNC/ NVQ/ City Guilds or equivalent experience in electrical engineering
Health and Safety Awareness (IOSH managing safety) preferred
SSSTS-CSCS skills card or equivalent
Ability to work at heights (IPAF) or equivalent
Emergency First Aid (preferred)
Must hold full UK driving license
Proven 3rd product training – Intruder, Access control, CCTV - Galaxy, Bosch, IP etc.
Fire Experience / knowledge:
BS5839 part 1-8, 9
