Logistics and Planning Leader

The logistics and planning leader, leads an important team of material and production planning to develop the supply chain for one business unit. The main objective is to maintain the production lines running in an efficient way, managing resources and optimizing inventories.

Responsible for planning of the materials in the business, strategy and tactical methods to align the business requirements with supplier demand. Forecast analysis, Re-Order points and safety stocks calculation. Daily meetings with suppliers to achieve min-max levels defined.  Define and develop delivery measurements.

Also, the position is responsible for inventories optimization. Projects to implement sourcing models with vendors and improve the communication with suppliers.

Network, full interaction with all the areas and more strategical and tactical position.

Requirements

  • Al least 5 years of experience in logistics or planning operations
  • At least 2 years of experience managing teams
  • Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization
