If you are a highly motivated Support Engineer and are interested in working in our “Global Sales and Customer Success” team, part of the Mechanical Analysis Division (M.A.D.), then this could be just the opportunity for you. In this position you will be focused on technical support of our Micred Hardware products (post sales team) Simcenter POWER TESTER and Simcenter T3STER.
The role involves resolving customer questions and issues on hardware and its software online or on customer sites, liaising with the Worldwide support team and the development team for this purpose. Frequent business travel to customers is necessary in EMEA area. 50% of total working hours are assumed to be business trips.
The core responsibilities within this role are best broken down into four sections; Technical support of T3Ster/MicReD measurement equipment, Customer Training, Investigation/Diagnostics, and Equipment maintenance, annual inspection and calibration.
Responding to customer queries, assisting the customer to adopt the equipment to their daily work, whilst also being available to provide basic training for new and experienced users.
Investigating the SW/HW issue on site, finding the root cause by working with the development team in Europe and evaluating the best solution and repair of the system onsite.
Inspection and calibration of the customers system of support contract once a year and checking customer’s usage situation.
Bachelor or higher degree
Experience using measurement equipment (e.g. voltage meter, current meter)
Strong communication ability in English. Able to author/understand technical documents (TOEIC 700 or same level)
Knowledge of one of following majors (mechanical, fluid dynamics, electrical engineering, computer science or other STEM curriculum, CFD)
Experience of using T3Ster/MicReD equipment, or other thermal transient measurement, power cycle testing, environment testing equipment and experience of embedded system or network system, thermal or fluid simulation software and CAD.
