Commercial Project Manager (Small Projects)
Siemens Postal Parcel and Airport Logistics is searching for a Commercial Project Manager to join their team.
As the Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small projects assuming responsibility of all commercial/financial related matters. You will also be supporting the Project Manager in other areas with executing projects and customer requirements.

As the Commercial Project Manager your role will involve
but not be limited to:
Supporting the Project Manager with managing and optimising targeted financial results.
Managing projects throughout the project life cycle.
Ensuring an adequate handover phase, analyse customer requirements, examine their commercial and contractual feasibility and transferability including export controls and customs matters.
Driving the review and evaluation of the contract conditions
Supporting the Project Manager in identifying, evaluating, assessing risks & opportunities, strategies and response activities
Ensuring the accuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project books and records
Performing asset management, initiate invoicing according to project progress and contractual terms
Conducting contracts/claim/change order negotiations with regards to commercial aspects
Together with the PM, proactively sets up a contract and claim management
Supporting the Commercial Manager by summarising the critical and legal elements and the Project Manager by ensuring that the critical and legal elements are considered in partner/subcontractor contracts/respective contract amendments
Identifying, assessing, responding, monitoring, reporting, escalating all commercial risks
Performing the credit risk analysis for potential customer, together with Global Procurement for suppliers
Managing compliance to standards, rules and regulations
What you need to make real what matters.
Experience within a similar role managing external customer projects within the baggage handling/management or similar industry
Experience of managing project portfolios with value above circa £1 million.
Experience of managing claims, assessing and mitigating project risks
Ability to evaluate financial figures and define appropriate measures for projects
Base location will be our London Heathrow office. The role may involve travel locally with some overnight stays.
