What role will you play?
- Senior sales manager of IOT Solution is responsible for lead generation, directly or via channel partners, until contract signs off, combining IT and OT at customer side both internally and externally.
- Key focus is to execute IoT solution sales strategy, explore ,identify and develop solutions opportunity in focused verticals, drive new business models, develop sales channels, partnering with eco-system;
- Develop strong interface to target key account up to executive level to capture the opportunity with support of Siemens available sales force.
- Plan customer visits and presentations, promote technical Sales, invite internal resource to customer, invite customer to Siemens, factory;
- Broaden portfolio footprint, find new go to market, bring new portfolio items to new verticals, push new portfolio topics, define solutions for the vertical market, lead technical discussions for new customers, new portfolio, etc.;
- Involve in early lead generation, define bid strategy, price level, winning strategy for bidding, be customer interface during development & bidding;
- Develop project pipe line and follow up projects with support from engineering department in pre-sales phase. Regularly review pipeline status.
- Prepare report for management.
Dimension of function:
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible to grow the business for IoT solution in covered vertical in China;
He/She represents appropriately IoT solution in covered verticals and cross vertical activities. He/she is reporting to Vertical Head of IoT solution. He/she is responsible for the assigned budget;
What qualification does the successful candidate bring?
- Bachler’s degree or above in Computer Science & Engineering, industrial automation and other related subjects.
- Work experience in business development or sales functions of more than 5 years with total more than 8 years working experience
- Understanding of covered industry vertical trends including market dynamics, product and technology trends, as well as IoT vertical application.
- Proven leadership skills in leading cross function teams as well as partners both inside and outside of the organization.
- Profile with direct B2B project sales is mandatory and profile with engineering or solution sales is preferred.
- Profile with direct bidding is mandatory
- Vertical Industry knowledge preferences: Discrete manufacturing, Process manuf. (incl. hybrid), Power generation, transmission & distribution, Transportation, Ports & logistics , Finance and other B2B
- Good communication skills in Chinese, English reading skill is mandatory.
