We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Engineer to join our Healthcare team in Auckland, New Zealand. Siemens Customer Service Engineers utilize multidisciplinary skills across electrical & mechanical engineering and IT to carry out fault finding, repair, maintenance and/or installation activities within one or more product families such as X-ray, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, Angiography, Cardiology and Health Information Technology.
Reporting to the Customer Services Team Leader and based in Auckland, the primary function of your role will be to carry out day to day preventative maintenance, upgrades and break fix on Angiography equipment, Sensis and General X-Ray Equipment with minimal supervision ensuring compliance with customer satisfaction, quality and safety standards on all Siemens Healthcare equipment across New Zealand.
Your key responsibilities will include:
•Take responsibility for all service and support activities at your assigned customers.
•Fulfilling the customer's needs for Preventative Maintenance (PM), any updates/upgrades, corrective service, installations and/or workshop repairs in accordance with business contractual obligations (contract obligations or billing policy)
•Timely completion of Service Reports with good liaison with the Customer Care Centre (CCC), management, sales, marketing and/or customers ensuring current location and job status is communicated back to CCC.
•Comply with all Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) policies, service escalation procedures and that all customer requests, complaints and comments communicated to the jobholder are passed to the relevant department for action.
•Maintaining personal knowledge of safety instructions and operational procedures and participate in training courses including 'self learning', computer based and 'on the job' training.
•Travel across New Zealand to support assigned customers. International travel to satisfy training requirement.
The successful candidate will require a tertiary qualification in the Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics / Mechanical or Information Technology disciplines or equivalent professional experience.
At least 5 years of experience in maintenance of Siemens Angiography equipment, Sensis and general X-Ray Equipment. The possession of a radiation license and restricted electrical license is also desirable however not mandatory. A strong communicator, your ability to build sound working relationships internally and externally will ensure your success in this role.
