IFRS General Ledger Accountant for Siemens Mobility

What we are looking for

We are looking for General Ledger Accountant to join our new team in Siemens Mobility. In this role your responsibilities will be:

• Full scope of monthly and closing activities GL, FA, Prov., Rev. Recognition, (excluding AP/AR, C&B) e.g.:

1. Slovak statutory accounting (preparation of financial statements, statistics, NBS reporting)

2. GL – reviewing/processing of JV, valuation allowances, regular closing activities

3. FA – activation, deactivation, transfer, depreciation

4. Prov. – review/approval and processing of Reserves, correctness of account usage

5. Rev. Recognition – governance provided to Country, regular closing activities


• Responsibility for correct monthly/quarterly reporting figures (BS / analytical reviews)

• Providing the Governance of IFRS accounting principles towards business partners, implementation of accounting guidelines

• Monthly Analysis of Consolidated figures (HQ controls)

• Participation on Projects (IFRS 15, SAP implementation, process harmonization)

• Daily work with SAP (FI, CO) , work with Runbook, SAP ERM (consolidation system).

university degree in the field of economics, preferably controlling, accounting, audit and finance

Language skills:

English B2 and Slovak C1

• Strong general accounting understanding

• Experience with General Ledger processes in SAP environment

• Analytical thinking

• Very good communication skills
