The Product Manager is a subject matter expert, who understand both the industry and the technologies it utilizes, is up-to-date on technological trends and is able to consolidate those trends along with customer needs and the company’s core competence to create a solid, valuable product road map that can drive business growth.
The MES Product Manager is a Valor Division based role and reports to the Valor Product Marketing Manager.
What are my responsibilities?
Understanding business requirements as identified by the business development group
Tracking technology trends that can affect the industry and identifying their applicable potential
Support defining product road map, business model, release scope and content
Creating specification documents for the R&D to allow them to understand the requirements and develop high quality products.
Support sales and marketing in the go to market efforts, present solution to customers and in marketing events
Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors
What do I need to qualify for this role?
At least 10 years in the PCB Assembly, test, manufacturing industry, with practical shopfloor experience.
Knowledge of MES/Digital Manufacturing solutions for PCB Assembly
Comfortable with interacting and supporting customers
Ability to manage indirectly and drive projects to successful completion
Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
Organized, with attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Willingness to travel periodically on a global basis (up to 25%)
