We are looking for an individual who designs, develops and manages large scale customer projects, according to defined Project Management (PM) standards and customer requirements and with end to end responsibility for economic results, quality, schedule and EHS.


·         Deliver a large-scale project in a timely manner, within budget and to the best quality in order to meet all stakeholder’s expectation

·         Manage the project throughout the project Life Cycle until final acceptance (FAC)

·         Manage Customer Requirements, Expectations and actively builds relationships to customer representatives

·         Develop strategies for the project and beyond by considering strategic targets for own project in alignment with business strategy and stipulates a project target agreement with the responsible business manager

·         Lead and review design, T&C document submissions and monitor technical submissions in accordance with the project program

·         Monitor the project progress and budget to make sure it is within the company requirement and lives full responsibility for the financial results according to set targets

·         Lead the project team in the process of identifying changes and claims

·         Conducts stakeholder analysis and manages efficient communication with all relevant stakeholders incl. different countries/ regions, headquarter, customer, partners, suppliers as well as authorities and other interest

·         Derives suitable strategies for risk mitigation and ensures the implementation of the risk mitigating measures

·         Coordinating with project team and customers for the implementation of projects and system enhancements

·         Being responsible for planning, resourcing and managing the project resources

·         Manage compliance to standards, rules and regulations


Individuals who meet the following requirements or possess the equivalent combination of competence and experience are invited to apply:

·         Relevant Bachelor Degree or above in Electrical / Electronic Engineering/Control and/or Computer Science

·         At least 10 years' experience in large scale infrastructure or railway projects of which 6 years should be in the role as a Project Manager / Project Director, holding an appropriate Project Management degree

·         Excellent Leadership Skills, a team player, able to work in complex environment, overtime and under pressure

·         Proficient in using Earned Value Methodologies with extensive knowledge in applying these in day to day project business

·         Familiar with railway operation and maintenance in technical and safety requirement aspects are essential

·         Must have a commercial contract sense and customer service mindset

·         True entrepreneur type with ability to create structures and willingness to balance risks

·         Occasionally travel to Mainland China or overseas for meetings or factory inspection as required

·         Good command of written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
