The Siemens Engine Business is right at the center of that paradigm shift. More than ever variable renewable calls for more flexible, localized power generation, and decarbonization calls for more efficient use of resources. Built on 50 years of history in engine technology, the Siemens Engine Business takes the pedigree and technology of Guascor, and marries it with the global reach and brand strength of Siemens, with the bold objective of increasing market share four-fold over five years. With products in the range of 0.5MW – 2MW, and several best-in-class applications, the Siemens Engine Business is well placed in the markets of flexible power, CHP and energy from waste.


The Siemens Engine Business relies on a network of business partners to sell and service its engines and we are looking for a highly motivated candidate to develop a newly created Partner Management department.


The Partner Management department will play a key role in our mission statement, and that is “to enable our partners to set the benchmark in the engine market”. At the same time, it will ensure that we do so in a homogenous way around the world.




He or she will define and manage the standards by which we assess and reward our business partners in the whole world.




He or she will manage the business training team, thus having the opportunity to create and teach the tools needed by our partners to sell more and give a better service to our end customers.




He or she will drive the yearly planning process with our BP, setting the targets for them and assessing their performance at the end of every year.




He or she will support our sales and strategy teams in identifying ideal business partners for new markets or where substitutes partners are required.





  • Enable channel partners (incl. Siemens entities) to be more independent in executing tasks on behalf of the SEB

  • Define and communicate standards (processes, requirements, benefits, etc) for and to SEB channel partners

  • Drive implementation and enforce compliance of SEB requirements across partner channel network, including certification, trainings, etc.

  • Drive SEB distributor appointment process from the selection, internal approvals, signing, etc.

  • Support measuring and monitoring partner channels performance (account P&L, service quality, NPS, etc.), evaluate measures and recommend and execute actions

  • Manage and develop SEB training programs to ensure partner network properly trained and certified to perform actions on behalf of SEB

  • Support and coordinate selection of distributors based on G2M strategy

  • Coordinate and consolidate distributors yearly planning and integrate into SEB planning (input and output)

  • Design, maintain and enforce certification program of channel partners

  • Support improving performance of distributors (more new unit sales, more parts sales, etc)

  • Organize events with channel partners




  • Studies  completed with a focus on Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Engineering

  • At least 5-10 years of work experience, ideally with experience in managing sales channels and indirect sales

  • Attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

  • Experience in managing teams

  • Owner mentality, entrepreneurial drive, and proven ability to influence others

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills: English is a prerequisite, Spanish is a plus

  • Experience with reciprocating engines is a plus

  • 10-25% of time travelling
