We are recruiting for a Group Manager to join our Field Service division. We are looking for a leader who can motivate and engage a group of up to 50 Field Service Engineers (based in UK & globally) in line with the business objective which is to provide world class Field Service Support for a global fleet of 2000 Industrial Gas Turbines.

This is your role. What part will you play?


  • Employee relations including; motivation, engagement, welfare, performance & time management, training & development.

  • Day-to-day operations; resource planning & utilization, field mobilisations and handling escalations as and when they arise.

  • Customer relations; work with internal and external customers including customer compliment and complaint recognition, analysis, resolution and lessons learnt.

  • Global responsibilities; foster relations with regional counterparts to oversee and uphold Field Service strategy (EHS, competency, utilization) globally.

  • Financial; manage budget in line with business strategy and drive ‘cost-out’ approach.

  • EHS; actively promote Siemens ‘Zero Harm’ policy and monitors tools related to safe working conditions to mitigate risk and ultimately prevent loss.

  • Field Service best practice & strategy; responsible for the development and implementation of Field Service standards within your team. Promote respect, honesty and integrity; adhering to all applicable laws, regulations and Siemens policies.



Use your skills to move the world forward.


  • A degree in an Engineering related subject is ideal.

  • Experience in a large Engineering company and some technical knowledge

  • Experience in a leadership role is essential.

  • IT proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint

  • Some project management experience would be advantageous.
