Data Center Sales Manager

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define the Building Technologies Portfolio including our High, Medium and Low voltage offering for the Data Centre market
  • Identify data center related sales opportunities and qualification of potential DC projects
  • Develop our business in the Data Center market in Singapore and ASEAN overall
  • Create & develop the market awareness for our DC portfolio to all market stakeholders (end users, design consultants, contractors)
  • Build a strong network in the data center market including outside vendors
  • Sell our Data Centre portfolio in ASEAN market with the support of the team (technical sales, engineering team)
  • Build-up and maintain close and regular contact to lead customers as well as consultants and contractors
  • Strengthen Siemens strong positioning in the market and support all stakeholders with your added values
  • Plans, directs, supervises and controls all sales activities related to DC to meet order intake and gross margin targets
  • Supervises and participate in all sales activities including pre-bid reviews, risk management, bid preparation, costing and gross margin reviews


What do I need to qualify for the job?

- Strong knowledge of building automation, DCIM, power management and High, Medium and low voltage 
- Strong knowledge of the rules and regulations in data center projects 
- Knowledge in DATA CENTER & HVAC is required 
- Knowledge in system integration is preferred 
- 5 years experience in the business development and operational sales of data center related Solution
- 5 years experience in the building technologies business
- 1-3 years’ experience in data center project execution 
- Data center construction experience is preferred 
- Strong personality and ability to deal with different cultures
