Purchase-to-Pay Services (P2P) is part of the GBS organization and it provides a wide variety of high-quality and cost-efficient purchase-to-pay services from purchase order processing, qualification of suppliers, maintenance of material master data, contract management, analytics services, invoice processing to the processing of outgoing payments.

We at P2P are now looking for a Junior Operative Buyer to join our Polish team. In this position you will perform various tasks related to procurement and work closely with colleagues in Poland. You will be given the opportunity to get to know Siemens as a company, learn from your colleagues, take responsibility of specific tasks assigned to you and to develop your professional and personal skills.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Accurate and timely execution of various operational purchasing tasks based on the global P2P product catalogue for internal customers, e.g. invoice clarification, order processing, data completion, preparation of various reports, updating databases and performance of different internal controls according to company regulations.
  • Provide operational SCM services to internal customers according to company regulations & guidelines within defined KPIs in highest quality and cost efficiency.

  • Prepare and maintain work instructions and guidelines related to the tasks.

  • Perform additional administrative tasks related to the job.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Minimum high school degree, University degree is considered a plus.

  • Strong language skills: fluency in Polish and English is mandatory; other languages are considered a plus.

  • Excellent soft-skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong IT-skills (e.g. Office 365 applications) and ability to quickly learn new tools. Knowledge of SAP is considered a plus, but not mandatory.

  • Knowledge of operative procurement / logistics / accounts payables is considered a plus.

  • Good analytical skills and high attention to detail and ability to efficiently manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Customer-focused, mindset of continuous improvement, flexible and adaptive in response to changing priorities and needs, responsible and team-oriented.
