For our Digital Factory Division in NANJING, we are looking for a SNC logistic solution department manager and as SNC new plant logistic project leader.
Mission of Function?
You are responsible to lead logistic solution team to optimize SNC factory´s logistic processes End to End in order to identify process weaknesses and potentials and develop solution suggestions how to improve current processes. Always with the aim to drive logistic performance to the next level and assure the team drives measurable business impact: Improved productivity, increased delivery reliability, optimized inventory levels, shorter lead times and optimized supply chain cost. Always aiming for LEAN optimized processes and best in digitalization.
The scope of process optimization of this role will cover the logistic processes of Plan, Source, Make and Deliver: From demand planning and order intake process through rough production demand planning, materials ordering, inbound handling, warehousing and inventory management, standard processes for serving material to the production line, dimensioning of supermarket Kanban and FIFO buffers, internal transportation routing up to outbound warehousing and handling.
In order to optimize these processes, you will work very closely together with the whole supply chain team as well as the production team
One of the key tasks of the role is to coordinate and lead the setup of all logistic processes for new SNC factory, from layout through system and standard process design up to go-live of the new factory.
What are my responsibilities?
>5 years with Logistic working experience and project management in plant.
Project management, leading logistic workstream to set up all logistic concept and processes for SNC New Factory
Generate Holistic (end to end) understanding of all logistics concepts and impact of changes
Have steady view of overall logistics quantity structure and skill to adapt planning and solutions to volume changes
Do business case calculation, investigation and selection of optimal logistic systems for all logistic processes and management of the tender process for the new logistic infrastructure (e.g. automated warehouse system, AGV etc.)
Design and optimize Logistic Information flow and setup requirement specification (design IT roadmap for the new factory for all logistic processes and systems) and implementation together with IT
Define optimal setup of Line side presentation for the factory: design and implementation of optimal supply to production (standard processes, Kanban system setup and dimensioning, supply optimization etc.)
Identify the improvement opportunities and work out concrete the measures to make sure the productivity target to be achieved.
Consider customers and projects' requirement, design and implement logistic solution which include from plan to delivery for new products.

What else do I need to know?
Deep experience in factory logistics, supply chain, logistics process design and material flow optimization
Overall Project management skills, having lead several major projects as project leader
Good understanding and experience in applying methods of lean in logistics
Good cooperative and communication skill with different stakeholders and teams
Initiate, support and motivate the changes
Good moderation skill
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
Fluency in English (written and verbal)
Good SAP and logistic system / Information Flow / It solution knowledge
Beneficial: Simulation knowledge - plant simulation for in house material flow
