Project Documentation Manager

 

Location: Budapest

Role type: 40 hours/week

Essential duties and responsibilities

Responsibility for the management of the project document control service function, processes and procedures:

  • Co-ordination of the document control resources to maintain and update the document and drawing registers on multiple projects
  • Ensure suitable and effective solutions are put in place to guarantee correct identification, revision and status codes
  • Ensure that project documents go through a documented and approved review-and-approval process before being stored
  • Ensure that documentation meets quality management standards and that internal controls are in place and are functional
  • Monitor the existing IT infrastructure and software to ensure incoming documents from clients and suppliers and distributing these internally in accordance with the project specific document distribution lists
  • Responsible that all project design team, project managers, commercial and programme management teams follow the document control procedures
  • Provide the highest quality and level of customer service, at the same time achievement of the delivery timescales
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure document control processes and procedures are followed and answer queries regarding document control protocols
  • Hold responsibility for training employees on records management procedures and policies, document retention, retrieval, destruction and disaster recovery

 

What makes you stand out?

  • University degree
  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge and experience of Document Control processes and procedures
  • Shall be required to have a good understanding of Quality Management principles including ISO9001
  • Familiarity with SAP PLM, Sharepoint, Aconex or similar document control system
  • Strong knowledge of lifecycle management
  • Team player – ability to work together with foreigner partners
  • English knowledge is a must
  • Readiness to travel (occasionally)
