   As part of the development of its activities, Siemens Healthineers is looking for a Partner Sales Manager IVD WCA.

 

The mission:

 

The position owner will be responsible for the achievement of annual and long term Sales and Profit targets, through the development and the management of authorized distributor channels in West & Central Africa (WCA), for Siemens Healthineers, Laboratory Diagnostics department.

Responsible to execute over full sales procedures, analyze issues, implement changes and prepare customer visits, investigations, market research activities or sales & marketing controlling operations, in the frame of the DX WAF organization.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Source, select, qualify, and manage new business partners, distributors, or resellers for the unserved market;
  • Execute and optimize own channel management activities in accordance with the internal legal, compliance and channel management processes;
  • Identify business opportunities, establish customer references, build-up and execute a sales funnel by winning-over Key Opinion Leaders and multiply key concepts for C-level customers;
  • Collaborate closely with active distributors to identify potential new offerings and opportunities to meet market needs and drive incremental growth;
  • Develop and Implement strategies and action plans per product line with specific targets, KPIs and associated measures;
  • Conduct own market intelligence, which will broadly assess the potential of the IVD field in West and central Africa, and increase market shares in units and volumes. (IVD: In vitro Diagnostics);
  • Be involved in customer trainings, workshops and customer product presentations;
  • Efficient, timely and accurate business reporting;
  • Main responsible for customer satisfaction;
  • Develop the Siemens DX brand image, projecting high professionalism and competence.

 

The profile:

  • A University Degree in Business Management and/or in Biology, Bio-chemistry, pharmaceutical or medical studies or equivalent;
  • A confirmed business experience in the healthcare industry in West Central Africa;
  • Minimum 5 years of channel sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment;
  • This position requires extensive travel;
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, think creatively to find customer solutions. Result oriented mindset;
  • Ability to sell, good teaching skills, good negotiator with deal closing capabilities;
  • Respects internal values and working atmosphere of commitment, team work, openness to new ideas and strong motivation;
  • Minimum of strategic skills required to make plans and take actions in alignment with the regional business orientation;
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to deal with, customers and staff at all levels. (English, Portuguese, French, others).
