Job Description

What are my job responsibilities?

·         Contribute to the development of the online and Social Media communications strategy of Malaysia

·         Analyze, Conceptualize, Implement and Evaluate targeted initiatives for regional social and digital channels in alignment with corporate and Operating Companies to drive brand awareness and new business opportunities

·         Manage day-to-day implementation of regional owned digital and social media channels (member of the global virtual social media team)

·         Drive implementation and adoption of marketing automation initiatives in the region

·         Ensures tracking, performance measurement and reporting of online and Social Media Communication channels according to defined metrics

·         Drives positive user experience, consistent customer journeys, search engine ranking and share of voice in Social Media

·         Consults internal community to drive the digital transformation of Siemens’ communications function

How can I qualify for the role?

·         An above average Degree in Communication/ Digital Media/ Marketing/ Business Administration

·         At least 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in digital communications strategy, social media and digital content production and website management

·         Strategic and holistic thinking skills about multi-channel communications in a 360 approach

·         In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn) and the ability to apply social media best practices to develop social media strategies, optimize content publishing and digital engagement

·         Excellent communication skills and strong writing skills with experience in writing for web and social media

·         Experience with Web Content Management, Marketing Automation, digital advertising platform, SEO, web analytics and content marketing tools and platforms, including social media management and listening

·         Project management including concept development and implementation, budgeting, scheduling, monitoring and controlling

·         Assertiveness, self-initiative, dedication and customer orientation

·         Ability to work in a team
