Commercial Project Manager - 12 months

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a CPM to join our established Gas and Power team on a 12 month contract. You will be responsible for commercially executing service projects ranging from small service orders >500k to major service outages & upgrade projects (up to 15mil) up to Long Term Service Agreements (+50mil).

The main responsibilities will be ensuring effective project administration, project cost controlling and risk/opportunity reporting. You will be required to ensure the accuracy of project books and records, including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g. SAP, and support the Project Manager that the financial results according to set targets are managed with due professional care and optimizes the project gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments. Actively communicates with customer's commercial representatives and manages solving of commercial issues. Together with the Project Manager proactively set up a contract and claim management in the project, including involvement and cooperation with the assigned contract manager, and support the Project Manager in selecting and partners / subcontractors. Other key actions will be ensuring compliance to Siemens Internal Control Systems (RIC), making sure project execution in line with PM@siemens processes and guidelines, and acting as a trusted partner and financial advisor to the technical Project Manager. For this role, we require full Australian Work rights.
