At Siemens the Safety Consulting business segment is a leading global consultancy focused on providing process safety related services and products. The business has sales and operations in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific and serves customers globally.
The Safety Consulting business segment is looking for a Sales Manager to utilize his/her expertise in managing the sales and business development in the CEE Region in the area of process safety, design and analysis, to deliver quality projects to Siemens customers. These projects focus on process safety management with particular emphasis on the area of pressure relief systems and mechanical integrity.

Preparation of business and strategic plan for the area, focus on business and targets
Identify opportunities and create a pipeline of qualified prospects to produce profitable bookings with established forecasts and objectives for the business.
Build, maintain, and improve relationships with current and prospective customers so as to ensure Siemens is recognized as the provider of choice and maintains or gains trusted advisor/consultant status.
Provide effective customer relationship management by working in conjunction with internal and external business stakeholders to deliver high levels of service, resolving issues raised by customers and to seek mutually satisfactory solutions and ensure high customer satisfaction is achieved.
Achieve commercial and operational targets set by management, such as those regarding pipeline, bookings, profitability, sales budget, client/market development and quality.
Develop, maintain key account metrics and communicate clearly progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Your Qualifications – Solid and Appropriate
5+ years of proven record of successfully developing accounts and closing sales.
5+ years of direct experience in the oil and gas industry within a consulting or engineering environment
Bachelor/Master or PhD degree (Chemical or Mechanical engineering is a strong preference)
Proven track record of working in a consultative sales function showing entrepreneurial ability, and motivation to grow business delivering client focused solutions based on customer needs.
Experience in conducting business internationally, building strong business relationships
Experience in the area of upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas processes.
Demonstrated technical competence in the field of process safety.
Good knowledge of Romanian and English language, both writing and speaking – is a must
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in understanding of OSHA & European requirements for Process Safety Management
Expected travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
