Plan, organize, direct, control and manage the GP EPC TS MEX, Central America and Caribbean (BU) with responsibility over sales and support functions, accountable for revenue, cost and profitability. Define goals and objectives, develop strategies to meet and evaluate those goals. Act as a change agent by providing the means to foster and support a positive organizational culture
This is a strategic leadership position responsible to Oversee the GP EPC TS operations to ensure Sales, Proposal Management, Engineering Support, Project Execution, EHS, Quality, Procurement, and Cost-Effective management of resources.
The Candidate is responsible for the total value chain of the business with customer focus which will bring high degree of customer satisfaction, high employee morale, developing and ensuring effective implementation of Business Plan at the BU level.
The Candidate would be responsible for establishing sales objectives, forecasting and developing an annual sales action plan for Mexico, Central America; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new accounts, maintains sales volume, keeping current with changing market trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
The Candidate is responsible for the sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training the sales team, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the team.
The candidate would also be responsible for implementing all operations and procedures, review related metrics, reports and undertaking corrective action, coordinating operational review meetings, assessing team capabilities to meet customer requirements.
The candidate would also be responsible for monitoring project schedules and project execution. Deliver in terms of driving and development of strong customer base, formulating and monitoring robust sales plan, supporting relationship management for key strategic customers, driving expansion into new markets and regions.
The candidate shall ensure proper response to EHS and Quality issues and complaints and monitoring the required corrective action.
The candidate is responsible to for the strategic planning for the GP EPC TS, sets plant budgets, and capital expenditures and define performance goals for direct reports.
The candidate shall lead the implementation of GP EPC TS operation policies, best practices and standard operating procedures to facilitate performance grow profits and exceed client and GP EPC TS expectations, manage profitability of the BU, and review revenue generation, analyze profit and loss statements and deliver key controllable expenses within budget targets to maximize productivity and profitability.
The Candidate will also be responsible for driving cost avoidance and cost reduction efforts in project execution.
The candidate should act as a mentor and provide coaching on vision and direction to the GP EPC TS management team, monitor and manage performance and develop strategies and people to achieve growth, service and financial goals.
The candidate is expected to communicate GP EPC TS business plan objectives, vision and performance to the team and individuals promoting development of outgoing employee relations to further the efficient of the GP EPC TS.
The candidate should be keen in identifying development areas for direct and indirect reports and implement an action plan for developing a strong team of employees.

Develop a strategic plan to advance GP EPC TS mission and objectives and to promote, sales, revenue, profitability, and growth implement it effectively
Manage GP EPC TS operations to insure efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources
Review financial reports to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revising objectives and plans in accordance with Mexico market conditions
Set up the budget for GPEPC TS and effectively implement the same

Provide coaching vision and direction to the GP PEC TS management team and monitor performance to achieve growth, service and objectives

Engineer (preferably MBA) with 15-25 years relevant general management experience in sales and organizational management in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) organizations with sales, proposal management and project execution experience
Engineering in Power Systems or equivalent
in Marketing and Sales from a top institute is preferred
Sells integrated solution to the Transmission and Distribution Market.
Implementing national sales plans; supervising regional sales managers.
Proven track of business growth
Business Spanish and English is a requirement, German is a plus
