Collect, report and evaluate all quality relevant information about suppliers and purchased parts in order to obtain reliable forecasts (product quality, quality costs, logistics performance) and to be able to determine appropriate corrective measures and preventive measures
Plan, initiate and steer sustainable preventive and corrective measures (Fire Fighting) and/or quality assurance measures (supplier audits, checks) for all products and services of suppliers in order to meet the quality requirements of our customers.
Initiate and support a preventive supplier quality management (i.e. EN Quality Gates) at the supplier as well as an active supplier qualification basically.
Conduct supplier development projects, audits etc. Initiate a mutual agreement on improvement measures. Controlling of the continued implementation of the measures both internally and at the supplier. The ultimate goal is to establish a successful partnership with our suppliers (supplier integration).
Initiate and support a project-spanning, continuous improvement process internally and at the supplier. Perform internal and external improvement projects in order to improve all quality related weaknesses and interface problems.
5 years working experience in mechanical field and very good technical and quality understanding (railway, automobile, shipbuilding)
Strong experience of manufacturing processes (such as: machining, GRP, welding, assembly, adherence and painting, etc. )
Knowledge of QM systems such as ISO 9001 and IRIS, QM experience
Cooperation, communication and adaption capability within a global team
Understanding of both the Chinese and International mentality, work and cooperate with global team effectively efficiently.
Very good language skills (Chinese, English, optimally also German)
Willingness to travel
