Facility Coordinator

Job Description

The facility management function includes Government liaison for customs and excise, employee security and safety, access control, fire and safety, cafeteria and food management, employee transport management, liaison with Siemens Real Estate and other tenants in the campus.  The Facility Coordinator will be responsible for one or more areas from the above list, based on the experience and expertise of the candidate.  Additionally, the person will have to get new projects for facility improvement executed with the help of vendors.  Vendor management would be a key part of the job profile.  

The person needs to have expertise in handling facility of at least 300-500 employees, with hands-on experience in dealing with all the stake-holders.  A basic knowledge of company law would be an added advantage.  Excellent communication skills – oral and written, with inter-person relationship handling are a must.  A strong focus on planning and execution of tasks is the key attribute required for this job.  Teamwork and collaboration are intrinsic to this job. 

This is an individual contributor role, the ideal candidate would have 5-10 years of experience in facility management.
