What are my responsibilities?
Multi Project execution of RE DC switchgear project (S and small C projects) lean execution, control of schedule, cost, milestones;
Ensure high quality in our projects, manage product issues timely, ensure data quality in tools.
Customer management and sales
Manage customer expectations and conclude the project to the satisfaction of the customer. Identify / create additional opportunities out of the ongoing projects.
Risk and opportunity management
Throughout project life cycle, identify and assess all risk factors utilizing available risk measurement tools. Decides and executes on suitable strategies for risk mitigation (elimination, reduction).
Identify, assess, and implement all opportunities for improving results.
Monitor the performance of the subcontractors / partners, conduct timely escalation (in the event of qualitative shortfalls and problems in cooperation) and, where there are any discrepancies, initiates timely suitable action. Take responsibility for suppliers, conduct bi-weekly project meetings.
Commercial project management
Manage the project within the defined financial targets (budget, target costing, target profit)
Live full responsibility for the financial results of the project as defined in the Project Manager (Target) Agreement. Optimize project profitability and ensures business success.
Sales and Bid management
PM is first sales contact. Generate additional business (upgrades, products, refurbishment, etc);
Involve and gain experience in bidding for new projects;
Develop projects from Bidding and later project execution, starting from PM020 until PM700, as bid manager and later project manager. To be responsible for complete bidding (as bid manager, following customer requirements, customer process, and also internal requirements and process);
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Certified PM, experienced in project execution;
Experience with PM process, milestone management, Risk management, NCC management is important;
Strong result orientation, manage the projects successfully and execute at least again targets;
Strong customer focus, Meet and exceed customer expectations (quality, schedule, milestones);
Siemens Mobility experience, understanding also internal requirements, process and reporting;
Good technical understanding, thinking in solutions to project risks and issues;
Taking responsibility and ownership for RE portfolio;
Strong collaboration inside Siemens, in China, abroad, and with external partners;
Presentation skills internal and external;
Fluent skill of English in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
