This position is responsible for assisting with deployment of assigned projects that are managed through the Zone Technical Center. They assemble customer solutions off-site and install Digital Deployment Packages.
Duties and Responcibilities
Tests hardware loaded with software to ensure expected results, including I/O level testing, alarm messaging functioning as expected, and all third-party systems integrations.
Performs Quality Assurance on deployment packages and turns over solutions to field technical resources, turns over materials to Project Manager to get materials to jobsite.
Loads programs to enable a functioning system including product licenses, firmware updates, panel programming, graphics, setting IP addresses, setting jumpers on all hardware, and properly applying labels to all materials.
Resolves customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
Updates cloud based project site with testing results and technical documents as required.
Receives and tracks work via workflow management software.
Provides input and feedback on digital deployment process.
Creates documentation for other Digital Deployment Specialists.
Executes application of SI RSS AM standards.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required
Experience using a multi-meter that generates 4-20ma, 0-10vdc.
Solid understanding of relay logic and circuitry of I/O level testing of hardwired points.
Strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook software programs.
