Job Overview

The Demand Planning Professional will be responsible for executing the purchasing, logistics, order management and material management processes of various repair and production activities managed by ME TS SC. 

Specific activities include but are not limited to: 

  • Pulling orders from EDI inbox

  • Entering order data in line schedule & updating line schedule with subsequent activities

  • Confirming production order, complete ZMT1, delivery & invoice.  Completing required shipping docs/labels.

  • Wrong parts received process

  • Managing customer warranty requests

  • Ordering spares and indirect material.  Managing subsequent blocked invoices, GR requests, tracking of undelivered PO's.

  • Creating docs for outgoing vendor service (refurb, upgrade) orders (create PO, send PO to vendor after approval, skid label and shipment form).  Updating line schedule.

  • Processing DOA material returns to ME ERL,Fujitsu and CTDI

  • Maintaining Order & Tracking workbook prices, vendors, EOL, customs requirements

  • Creating and maintaining material information in SAP.

  • Participating in "phase" project meetings representing Logistics in Live Meetings

  • Reconciling monthly inventory count to SAP and making adjustments.

  • Performing monthly GR/IR reconciliation

  • Performing freight cost analysis

  • Managing vendor files and vendor management activity

No travel required

 

Required Skills and Experience

 

  • Experience with logistical and/or financial processes

  • Very good knowledge of SAP

  • Customer oriented with strong communication skills
