Medium Voltage Drives - Trainer / Instructor

Job Description

Position Overview

This position will reside in New Kensington, PA.

Travel required to external sites to conduct training sessions (75%)

 Conducts individual and group technical training courses and activities for customers and employees

Reviews critiques and modifies/revises course materials as required

Provide technical support as required for training sessions

Listen to customer’s needs/requirements and provide feedback to team for resolution

Professional know-how and experience in MV Drives and related equipment

Solid professional judgment and problem-solving competence. Improves existing processes and approaches

Responsibilities

Conducts MV Drive training and related equipment training

Resolve classroom issues to ensure effective class experience

Coordinates/Setup for class delivery

Maintains / Develops / Enhance courseware as identified by customer and business needs

Review student critiques and identify needed changes to course content / delivery for incorporation in future class courseware

Assist with LDA courseware updates from HQ

Assist with Maintaining US courseware and manages updates

Required Skills

Experience in Low Voltage or Medium Voltage Drives

Experience presenting to customers / training on a technical topic

Safety knowledge – Low Voltage/Medium Voltage

Excellent organization and Time management skills

Computer Skills – PowerPoint/Xcel/Word, Interface to equipment

Customer Focused – Listening to customers and support their expectations

Electrical/Electronic Background
