Vice President, Digital Healthcare Strategic Operations

Job Description

The VP, Digital Strategic Operations will be responsible for all operational aspects of the NAM Digital Business Line.  Reporting to the Digital Business Line Head, this role will partner with the digital leadership team to define, implement, and enhance digital operations across the portfolio.


Develop a customer facing strategy, support negotiations, and internal stakeholder coordination for large/strategic deals.

Plan / coordinate periodic business reviews across the digital business line and field

Plan, prepare, and present budget / market plans, including current and forward looking projections.

Develop strategies with the leadership team to expand market growth and development.

Perform strategic analysis, planning and detailed target setting; including HIT National Trends and meetings

Perform digital market size analysis and projections.

Develop white space and programs to strategically grow the digital portfolio

Propose strategic targets and focus areas

Monitor and provide feedback on funnel sufficiency: conversion rates, size of funnel – by modality/product

Facilitate internal stakeholder / resources for coordinated and aligned approach to digital growth initiatives 

Support the development and execution of NAM digital strategy and execution which incorporate NAM initiatives and targets.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

BS/BA in related discipline (preference for MS, or MBS, and FACHE), or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas

15+ years in healthcare IT

Senior consulting/ management experience.

Extensive strategic skills

Healthcare C level relationship experience, including interfacing with clinical and HIT leadership.

Contract negotiation and development experience

Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills

Strong business acumen, analytical and strategic thinking required

Ability to develop and foster teams

Capacity to manage cross functional initiatives

Effectively manages and resolves conflict

Relentless customer focus

Must be able to travel 50% or more as required
