Responsible for financial support of Corporate Center groups for Mentor Graphics and Business Support Units for Siemens PL, which includes leading the planning and forecast processes, as well as ad-hoc reporting, analysis and business decision support. Prepare forecasts, reporting and variance analysis of expenses, headcount, and capital. Assist managers in understanding the financial impact of business decisions, and provide guidance regarding corporate policies and procedures. Communicate issues and concerns with finance management as appropriate. Utilize management information systems and reporting tools for routine and ad hoc management reporting for functional managers and corporate finance. Identify opportunities for cost reductions & efficiencies. Lead process improvement efforts and complex projects. Facilitate meetings, present information and answer questions concerning financial practices, policies and activities. Communicate with department managers for data gathering, administration, analysis and/or interpretation to develop and present recommendations for financial plans, capital acquisitions, operating forecasts, etc. Prepare journal entries. Partner with Global Procurement organization on vendor relationship management. Must be able to build and maintain strong relationships within Finance and other Corp functions. Must be able to work independently and work well with people across functional areas and at all levels of the organization.
