Position Overview:

As a member of Siemens Mobility’s North America Communications Team, this position supports both traditional marketing communications for Siemens Mobility in Canada as well as Digital Communications throughout the North American region.

What will you do?

  • In alignment with Siemens Mobility Canada senior management and Siemens Mobility North America Communications enhance brand visibility through digital campaigns and traditional marketing communications activities.
  • Work with customers to maximize visibility for seamless entry-into-service and other project milestones through co-marketing activities.
  • Support development and execution of communication plans that supports new sales campaigns, including stakeholder mapping, identifying communication tactics and measurement against KPIs.
  • Act as liaison for Siemens Mobility Canada within Siemens Mobility North American Communications Team.
  • Drive North American digital strategy and development of digital content.
  • Develop and executive demand generation campaigns in support of sales campaign.
  • Work with Global Siemens Mobility digital team to support website development, search optimization and maintenance.
  • Manage online performance analysis and reporting.
  • Support North America Communication Team with email marketing and marketing automation process.
  • Manage digital advertising on search and social channels.
  • Collaborative project management across businesses and countries, with growing understanding of rolling stock, rail infrastructure, customer services, and intelligent traffic systems businesses.
What will you need to succeed?

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, IT or related field
  • 5-7 years proven communications and digital marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated digital demand generation campaigns that support large scale bids.
  • Advanced understanding of content management systems, digital content development, information architecture, search engine optimization, web analytics, online advertising, demand generation and marketing automation processes and tools.
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing and editing web content.
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills. Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
  • Ability to work successfully across global audiences, agencies, internal clients and platforms.
  • Experience working in the transportation industry preferred.
  • 15% domestic and international travel
