Engineer, you will be
You will oversee the safety and maintenance of the ammonia refrigeration building.
You will maintain the site Preventive Maintenance (PM) program. You will coordinate and schedule PMs during plant shutdown and planned production downtime, ensuring the completion of site PMs.
You will provide facilities support to troubleshoot or perform necessary repairs to maintain the operation of equipment.
You will coordinate necessary technical training and develop skill trades to effectively perform their job.

You will need to ensure adequate inventory is maintained to support the Facilities equipment.
You will need to demonstrate strong leadership and supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.
You will work with outsides contractors and vendor to schedule service and repair of Facilities equipment.
You will schedule and monitor work for skill trades every day to support the facilities departments.
You will adhere to plant safety rules to ensure safe operation and troubleshooting facilities equipment.
Work on assigned CAPAs and non-conformances pertaining to facilities equipment.
You must be willing to provide support for a 24/7 Facilities operations.
Required skills to have for the success of this role
BS/BA degree in related discipline or equivalent.
3 to 5 years’ experience in supervising skill trades. Union experience preferred
Understanding and troubleshooting of HVAC /mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systems.
Prior experience with CMMS systems, ammonia refrigeration systems and reading blue prints
