Job Description

Position Overview:

Develop and conduct programs to train internal employees as well as external Siemens Healthineers customers; including system overviews, applications, and options pertaining to AT Cardiology and Interventional Radiology.  


Trainer will confer with staff and technical training manager to determine training objectives for classroom training.  Additionally, trainer will develops training programs including outlines, transcripts, handouts, laboratory exercises, and exams. The applications trainer will assist with the creation of training content for the training and development website and e-learning tools.  Delivers lectures on system overview, configuration, applications, and system options of AT systems, following the course description and material.   Must be able to effectively demonstrate procedures being taught, observe trainees in lab sessions, and answers trainees' questions, while delivering written, oral, and hands-on assessments. Participate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions inside and outside of the United States to obtain useful information to integrate this information into training programs. Occasional travel to conduct applications training classes at customer sites and to perform applications support in the field.

In this role you will ensure that the Clinical Education training on AT systems is facilitated to provide expert technical training, deliver customer excellence, and represent Siemens Healthineers with professionalism, while focusing on delivering a positive customer experience. The candidate will work with the AT Modality team and the Education and Service Management teams to promote positive customer relationships, as well as participate and promote internal team integration and networking resulting in a sharing or knowledge.  Effectively educate Siemens’ employees and customers to operate Siemens’ equipment proficiently and safely, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education & Experience:

Must have detailed knowledge of medical imaging systems, with 5+ years clinical applications experience.

Associate’s Degree / College Diploma in the area of Radiologic Technology or associated field

Must be ARRT certified

Teaching experience is required

Basic knowledge of PACS, networking and hospital workflow is helpful

Up to 20% travel both domestically and internationally
