What are my job responsibilities?

Siemens is heavily investing on customer service. This position will be responsible for deriving data driven services according to customer requirements for optimizing customers asset management processes in the Rail industry.

  • Analyze contractual requirements for data driven services for optimizing Asset Management (AM) processes in metro lines and draft a solution scope in line with the contractual specifications
  • Create an overall concept defining data driven asset management optimization levers (WLC/LCC, Maintenance, Reliability, Availability, Renewal, Inventor, Asset Condition, Data Quality)
  • Derive data driven use cases / features out of the contractual requirements and AM optimization levers
  • Detail, describe use cases / user stories into system requirements specifications
  • Coordinate, align the use cases / features detailing into system requirements specifications for final customer acceptance
  • Support solution architects to translate features into system design specification
  • Guide development teams in use case / feature development regarding AM optimization levers and its domain specific application
  • Lead and coach a local business analysts’ team (own / consortium partner’s team members)
  • Close work with the business and technical staff and as key contributor in the part of the data business team
  • Maintenance of constructive relationships with customer and related stakeholders
What do I need to qualify for this role?

  • Successfully completed university degree (M.Sc. degree / Diploma) in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or engineering sciences
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in business analysis for the sake of deriving data driven services
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience asset management process and improvement in the rail industry
  • Good knowledge of operation and maintenance of rail systems
  • Work experience with service topics and IT (software, solutions, services)
  • Ability to draw conclusions from data and recommend actions
  • Strong presentation and communication skills on technical and business level
  • Strong conceptual working capabilities
  • Comfortable working in a international team environment bridging traditional manufacturing with state of the art analytics in order to redefine the industry
  • Self-motivation, initiative, assertiveness and strong result orientation
